Garbage and Trash Pickup

Waste Management is contracted to provide garbage and waste pickup once a week for all residents. Green roll-out carts for garbage are provided and residents are asked to put them out early on Tuesday morning to allow Waste Management maximum flexibility. A missing cart, a missed pickup or other problems are to be reported to the Village Administrator/Clerk who will work with Waste Management to solve the problem. Bulk Waste and Yard Waste are usually picked up twice a year.
Recycling
Recycling is encouraged by the Village and is provided at no cost to all residents. Residents are provided with brown roll-out carts and Waste Management picks up the bins every other week on Thursdays. Residents are asked to place the bins out early to allow Waste Management maximum flexibility. A missing bin, a missed pickup, or other problems are to be reported to the Village Administrator/Clerk who will work with Waste Management to solve the problem.
