Gray Stone Day School

Gray Stone Day School is a public charter high school on the campus of Pfeiffer University. The school was founded in the fall of 2002 with the goal of providing a rigorous, college preparatory curriculum to students in the region. North Stanly Middle School is a great place to learn. With our school’s vision statement of “North Stanly Middle School will strive to instill in our students the qualities that will make them lifelong learners and positive contributors to society” and our mission statement of “Nurturing Students and Motivating them to Succeed” being at the core of all of our actions, our staff and students work hard to achieve excellence.

North Stanly Middle School’s enrollment is is approximately 570 students, consisting of 6th-8th grade, making us the third largest school in the district. Students have access to top instruction from great teachers, innovative technology, and many extracurricular activities. The middle school curriculum consists of Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science as well as PE, Band, chorus, Art, Health, and Guidance.
